This render illustrates the experiential retail interior designed for Cobden Chambers, the reception zone of the retail space, inspired by the repetition and rhythm of tufting. Wooden fins ripple across the ceiling, echoing thread movement and guiding visitors inward. Walls of colorful yarn spools form a tactile backdrop that merges display with storytelling, inviting curiosity. The terrazzo flooring and organic arches soften the spatial flow, while plant accents and artwork enhance the artistic ambience. Rooted in Cobden Chambers’ creative spirit and Alice in Wonderland’s playful unpredictability, the space welcomes visitors into a world of handcrafted wonder and evolving perspectives.

This render illustrates the experiential retail interior designed for Cobden Chambers, blending craft, color, and playful exploration. The vibrant red terrazzo stairs and mesh railing reflect the tufting process through rhythm and repetition. Warm brick walls and wooden floors ground the space in historic texture, while paintings and tufted rugs animate the corridor—capturing the spirit of local artistry. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the design evokes movement and surprise, inviting visitors to wander through layered, whimsical zones that merge function with fantasy.
