Mélange de Nature Wilderness and Human Structures

Design Studio 02

Hero Image

Project

The concept of the site revolves around nature’s spirit of reclaiming their own space. The design philosophy of reclaimed architecture is based on the phenomena of nature gradually reclaiming abandoned human constructions and turning them into eerily beautiful places where vegetation, animals, and decay coexist with the remains of architecture creating a space between deconstruction and construction where nature is allowed to go wild. The space created is in contrast to other controlled and planned architecture.

Project

The illustration depicts an organic invasion in the architectural elevation where nature slowly consumes and reshapes the manmade structure into a new, hybrid terrain.
