Sensora – A Ritual of Remembrance
Kinetoscope

2085 Narrative
In a speculative future dominated by digital archives and artificial intelligence, Sensora proposes a space where memory is revived through ritual and the five senses.
Inspired by the Indian philosophy of the Panchamahabhutas (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether), the design unfolds as a multi-sensory journey through scent, light, taste, touch, and sound.
The project is set within the historical Papplewick Pumping Station, where past and future merge through immersive spatial storytelling.
Spatial Concept
Sensora reimagines the Kinetoscope as a metaphor for embodied memory. Spaces include a spiral of scent and shadow, a kinetic dance room powered by movement, a taste-based experiential eatery, and a tactile corridor for touch and grounding.
Architecture here is not static—it responds, records, and reflects. The project celebrates slowness, presence, and the act of remembering not through data—but through space.
