2085 Narrative

My narrative explores the idea that designing the 'perfect brain' will allow people to become the best version of themself without suffering a loss of identity. My project goal is to bridge the gap between humans and machines in response to the evolved future of 2085. Human preservation is at the centre of my design, with the idea of remembrance intertwined with futuristic and innovative solutions introduced through Al. I have chosen to work with Al rather than against it, and in doing so, I aim to create a life-changing experience within my space. This possibility of humans and machines working together inspired me to design my own company, 'ExoMinds', an immersive brand experience where visitors will be introduced to an entirely new world with limitless possibilities.

Spatial Concept

This project is a speculative journey exploring how altering and repurposing a historical site can inspire and bring a new futuristic business idea to life, it will harness the unique energy of the original site and ensure that visitors feel a sense of connection between the past and the future as they enter a new reality and experience a transformative journey. Papplewick Pumping Station will host ExoMinds, a hub for Al to change the world. The narrative and the relic study, will inspire the spatial configuration.
