In a desperate grasp for control, Earth’s government rewrites scientific facts for fiction, echoing a time when celestial knowledge served power not progress. In resistance, a silent rebellion forms. The Safe Star emerges as sanctuary and symbol. A place where scientists and seekers reclaim knowledge, gather beneath the stars, and teach the truth, ungoverned and unbroken.
Spatial Concept
The project is structured around the theme of juxtaposition. Opposing spaces are placed in dialogue to reflect the tension between science and religion. Visitors move from dark isolated pods designed for introspective learning to a bright collective amphitheatre where open debate and shared education take place. These contrasting environments support both personal reflection and communal exchange. The architecture reinforces this duality through light material and form guiding users through an unfolding narrative of resistance and reconnection.
