Spatial Concept
The Heami is a visionary architectural concept designed to provide an exceptional space for students to showcase their work, seamlessly integrating sustainability and AI-driven design to create a dynamic and versatile environment for urban engagement.
The name HEAMI reflects the essence of its design: a wavy, fluid form inspired by natural rhythms and assembled using hexagonal panels to signify repetition. Drawing inspiration from biomimicry, the pavilion embodies the harmony found in nature’s patterns while integrating parametric design.
Spatial Concept
The initial design sketches extensively explored form and function, resulting in innovative spatial configurations that pushed conventional boundaries. While creativity and experimentation shaped these designs, the emphasis on form often overshadowed functionality, leading to visually striking but impractical solutions. Through analysis and reflection, the design approach was refined to achieve a balance between aesthetic appeal and usability. Considering key parameters—such as the pavilion’s role as an exhibition space, its adaptability, and its relationship with the surroundings—a concept emerged that integrates creativity with utility. The final design is both functional and visually distinctive, delivering an engaging experience while fulfilling its intended purpose.
