Mixed Use

Project
This project is a service station located along a farmland. It adopts a low-impact strategy by combining a timber structure with south-facing photovoltaic panels to increase energy self-sufficiency. Curved roofs and green coverage help the building blend into the terrain. The interior uses large openings and sound-absorbing panels to create a quiet, comfortable resting space.
Research
This study explores how photovoltaic panels can be effectively integrated into buildings. Simulations were conducted to test energy output under different angles and orientations. The research also considers structural and thermal factors, proposing layout principles for small- to medium-scale buildings that balance energy performance with aesthetics and user experience.
