Atelier 03: Resonant memories: Echoes of the past, harmonics of renewal
Project
The concept of this project will be condensed as:
Breaking the Barriers through a Permeable approach,
Establishing Connections with a Polyphonic texture
The barriers between the city of makers and performers; musicians and general public; and the city centre and exterior areas are aimed to be broken through. This can be done by a permeable architecture design. After breaking the barrier, the connection can be joined by using a polyphonic texture, in which things with different values can be joined together into a great piece.
Project
Spaces are designed under two ideologies: seeing performance as a kind of making; and treating making as a form of performance. The act of display will be the ideology to connect these two spaces.
