Project
This museum explores the intricate relationship between memory and the senses, drawing inspiration from the idea that memory is both reconstructed and deconstructed throughout life. As we grow, we develop our senses and utilise them to shape our experience of the world. In later years, those senses often begin to fade—altering the way memories are recalled or preserved.
Each sensory room is thoughtfully designed to immerse visitors in experiences that evoke, preserve, and activate memory through the five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste.
Visitors are guided through a sequence of sensory environments, gradually intensifying their engagement with each of their senses. The museum features 18 interactive exhibitions, offering reflection, curiosity, and emotional connection.
Spatial Concept
Under Sight, installations such as Blinding and Infinity Mirror Room explore visual distortion and light as tools for spatial storytelling.
Hearing features sound-reactive inflatables and digital projections that respond to movement and touch.
Smell evokes emotional recall through scent-infused environments, including a sculptural forest and aromatherapeutic alcoves.
Touch encourages active engagement through textured landscapes, mist installations, and tactile interventions.
Taste is interpreted architecturally through atmospheric spaces representing sweet, bitter, sour, and spicy experiences.
Together, these rooms form a cohesive journey that reimagines how architecture can capture, trigger, and reconstruct memory through sensory experience.
