2086 Narrative
The Harvesters formed in response to anomalies they could not publicly acknowledge. They began investigating a micro-engineered surveillance chip covertly embedded within a routine vaccination program. The device was designed to be biologically integrated: responsive to neural activity, capable of monitoring behavioural patterns.
The rebel group’s dissent emerged not from paranoia, but from empirical evidence. Their work shifted from observation to resistance, seeking methods to interrupt, degrade, or unbind the implanted surveillance chip and restore cognitive autonomy.
Spatial Concept
The project transforms the existing concrete structure into a sequence of spaces for preparation, transformation and communal reconnection, guiding occupants through moments of isolation and release. Rather than reconstructing the site, the intervention adapts the existing framework through organic growth and natural systems. Living forms infiltrate and carve through the rigid concrete structure, creating spaces of compression, expansion and exposure. The project explores the tension between controlled urban infrastructure and unpredictable natural growth, ultimately positioning decay as a form of liberation, transforming the abandoned structure into a living counter-system capable of unbinding the mind from algorithmic control.
