Atelier 01: SITOPIA: Feeding our future
Project
This project is founded on the topic of "Sitopia", a city shaped by food. The purpose of my building serves as a gallery and community centre, situated on the Newark Market Square. The outdoor column walkway and the innovative market stalls and artwork displays act as a connection between the Newark Town Hall and my building.
Project
The main spaces in my building include a gallery and an exhibition that are spread over two floors and connected via a mezzanine floor. An educational wing with a classroom, workshop and an art studio to cater to different learning capabilities. A cafe, bar and terrace to explore drink making processes and a greenhouse for scientific coffee growing environment.
