Fractured Harmony explores how space can hold emotion, movement, and narrative to reflect the brand’s history. Set in Cobden Chambers, Nottingham, the site’s hidden, textured quality inspired a layered, poetic spatial response. Research into La Zouche, a handcrafted, sustainable soap brand, shaped a store design rooted in slowness and sensory detail. Conceptual models studied positive/negative space, repetition, form, balance, and light. These models were questions, not answers, leading to gestures like layered walkways, soft separations, and fractured rhythms. The space became a crafted escape, both intimate and unexpected. The image reflects the design’s structured flow and emotional layering.
