Regaining Momentum
Aeolipile
In 2085, the world has forgotten how to move. Bodies have become still, minds confused by technology and constantly distracted by a virtual world at their fingertips. Most jobs and day to day tasks are completed by AI so people seem to have lost their purpose. People stay inside all the time with no reason to leave the house and to connect with others. In the pursuit of perfect automation, we have surrendered the sacred aspects of life: the weight of tools in hand, the breath before exertion and the shared rhythm of movement.
