Inspired by the tradition of exchanging friendship bracelets at Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, this design concept reflects music's ability to bring individuals together. Separate buildings, each representing a bead, are linked by a central corridor, forming a cohesive civic structure. The proposed Newark civic building—a music school and performance hall—addresses the lack of collective learning and modern performance spaces. With classrooms, ensemble rooms, offices, a foyer, a courtyard, private residences, and a public auditorium, the institution promotes education, performance, and community engagement.
