Seeking out social connections is a core part of human nature, so it is essential to build communities. So, I designed a market that not only encourages these values but also drives Newark culture by providing an opportunity to display local artists’ work and connect with people. This market is a place to bring people closer to food and reconnect them with nature.

The Adaptable Modular Market is not competing with online shopping, consumer culture, or a lack of accountability in a fast-paced mindset of ‘buy now, think later’.
