Echo Of Water
Echo of Water explores the relationship between water, music, and space, asking how architecture can be a space of healing, reflection, and sensory experience. The project is inspired by the idea of water dividing space and space dividing water – creating a dialogue between the built form and the River Trent at Newark Town Wharf. Water is not a boundary but an active element that defines movement, atmosphere and emotional experience. Curved forms inspired by ripples and flowing motion arrange a series of therapeutic, meditative, musical, and communal spaces around a central theatre. Music is an invisible architectural layer that influences the rhythm, circulation and acoustic experiences.
