Kim Parker
Sustainable Construction Centre
This project explores the integration of sustainable construction and modern technologies, whilst bridging the gap between historical and contemporary architecture in Newark. The project features a range of innovative, multifunctional spaces designed to engage and inspire. Demonstration labs allow for hands-on learning about eco-friendly materials and construction techniques, while workshops offer opportunities for both professionals and community members to develop practical skills. Co-working areas encourage collaboration between students, local businesses, and sustainability advocates, enhancing a hub for green innovation.
Highlighting environmental responsibility by including renewable materials, energy-efficient systems, and adaptive reuse ideas that maintain components of Newark.
