FRAME BY FRAME

This project proposes a new film campus for NTU in response to the evolving film industry and the growing influence of AI. It creates a hybrid environment where traditional and emerging filmmaking methods are taught, developed, and integrated. Structured around the core stages of filmmaking—pre-production, production, and post-production—the school is divided into three distinct architectural elements. Pre- and post-production are housed in separate buildings flanking a central public hub that fosters collaboration. Production facilities sit on the ground floor and beneath the plinth, offering flexible workshops and studios for hands-on learning. This shared realm supports interaction between students and professionals, preparing students for a rapidly changing creative landscape.
