Artificial intelligence now dominates work, education, and personal growth, leaving many people without purpose or ambition. Most individuals live isolated indoors, absorbed by digital devices and disconnected from real human interaction. Creativity has faded as AI-generated content makes the world feel repetitive, artificial, and lacking individuality.

Marie believed society needed to change. Inspired by the artistic innovation and intellectual growth of the 14th–17th centuries, she envisioned a world driven once again by creativity, learning, and human connection.

She founded The Refusers, a movement that encouraged people to reconnect with their passions, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships through face-to-face interaction.
